Qualifications: • M.Tech/MS/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Industrial experience

Proven experience in mechanical design and simulation, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, ANSYS, COMSOL).
Strong knowledge in selecting material and its properties & strength, manufacturing route, machine kinetic and kinematics, drafting, and limits-fits-tolerances.

Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Design and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a key contributor, you will be crucial in designing and simulating mechanical systems, ensuring their functionality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, and a passion for driving excellence in product design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Design:

Develop detailed mechanical designs for new products and improvements to existing systems.
Utilize CAD software to create 3D models, drawings, and specifications.

2. Simulation and Analysis:

Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to evaluate the structural integrity, thermal performance, and overall behavior of mechanical components and systems.
Optimize designs based on simulation results to meet performance and reliability requirements.

3. Prototyping and Testing:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes for mechanical components and systems.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure designs meet specifications and performance criteria.

4. Collaboration:

Work closely with other engineering disciplines, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall system designs.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address design for manufacturability considerations.

5. Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and analysis reports.
Maintain accurate records of design changes and updates throughout the product development lifecycle.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in simulation and design tools.
Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices in mechanical design and simulation.
